Rainbow, and chalkboard, and wood oh my!
Even though I haven’t used it in my own classroom for several years, I can’t resist bright rainbow and chalkboard combinations. Every time I see it I swoon (probably more than I should). A few years ago I was asked to design a classroom decor set for a first year teacher- she wanted a bright set, but also wanted something to go with her other rustic elements… my heart be still. Design something rustic AND using rainbow/ chalk? Challenge accepted!
Introducing the rustic rainbow decor set
I decided to model this set after my wildly popular Into the Woods barn wood classroom decor, still using a rustic barn wood look… but combining the rainbow colors and chalkboard background as well. This is easily one of my favorite sets and would look great in any elementary classroom!
